Margie is the President of Whimsey House Interior Design.  For 26 years, she has designed beautiful homes for discriminating clients, on the North Shore of Massachusetts, Wellesley, Weston, Boston and Cape Cod. Her extensive out-of-state clientele live in Naples, Washington D.C., Chicago, Los Angeles, Newport, and Barbados.

The design phase of her work can encompass blueprint review and critique before construction, and on site construction advice, if necessary. The next step is furniture layout of each room, utilizing a client's present furniture and accessories, and  new pieces, if needed. Paint, wallcovering, area rugs, upholstery, window fabrics, and accessory decisions are next in the design scheme.

Working with individual rooms in existing homes, are an integral part of Margie's design program, as well.    

She has been selected as designer of six Boston Junior League Showhouses, and three JCC Showhouses. Her beautiful Brides Bedroom in the Junior League Showhouse won "best of show" from Traditional Home Magazine.

Margie's work has been published in many local newspapers, as well as The Boston Globe, Chicago Tribune, Better Homes and Gardens, House Beautiful, Ladies Home Journal, Design News, North Shore Magazine, Best of Barbados, and also featured on HGTV, and Channel 5 Morning Show.

Her commercial design includes model homes, banks, restaurants, retail shops, offices and business reception areas.

Design philosophy: "I am only satisfied when a designed room is magazine cover perfection, and my client is truly happy with everything."

Margie has studied extensively at the Art Institute of Chicago, Loyola University, and has a business degree from Moser College in Chicago.
